We are sure that like us, many of you may feel like you are going down Alice's rabbit hole during this time. Alice of all people would understand what we are going through as her world, like ours, was thrown topsy turvy. The rabbit hole was the beginning of a journey that was surreal, challenging, complex and chaotic... it was however also a journey of new beginnings.
How do we respond to having to go through that small scary door into Wonderland? Do we grab the bottle of ‘Drink me’ deciding that we're going to be huge and tower above all, or the small cake that reads ‘Eat me’, to shrink down to contemplate the road ahead? There isn't one easy answer as each of our journeys is unique; the reality is that we will probably try a bit of both to see which is best at the time.
There are so many lessons we can take from Alice during this time: be a wildflower not a wallflower - instead of simply existing, Alice set out to be who she wanted to be and accomplished impossible things. Wandering doesn't mean we are lost - sometimes we need to fall down the rabbit hole to get to where we need to be. And life can be much more muchier - do you feel like you’ve lost your “muchness”? If so, it’s time to find it again.
